Chocolate Mint


BLOOMS: Tubular pink flowers during summer.

CARE: Spreading groundcover - can be very invasive. Grows to 24" - 36" height and 36" width. Prefers partial shade.

USE: Mints can be dried but are best used fresh. To use mint in cooking, chop the leaves finely and use in salad dressing or with lamb. Chocolate mint can be add to coffee, tea, chopped fruit, in custards or in ice cream. You can also use the whole leaves crushed to steep into teas.
